During Regattas we do not simply
take a ride on a chase boat or committee boat and shoot photos with
a long lens. We bring our own 12' inflatable ribs and photograph
every boat from multiple angles, getting the most dramatic close up
shots possible.
Our Boats are small enough that they
do not disturb even the smallest of sailboats. We have
customized them in such a way that it is easy for
us to zoom around the race course by ourselves, driving and
photographing at the same time. We still
photograph in large ocean waves. We're also fun to watch.
Our Slide Shows of the day's most
dramatic photos provide events and regattas with valuable
entertainment during gatherings. We have our own projector a
nd other equipment including computer monitors for participants
to view their photos.
From brochure shots to group
outings to family action portraits (great for Christmas
cards!), we shoot the photos you want from all angles by
photographing both from the water and on board the boat.

Here’s what PhotoBoat can provide:
Professional, unique photo coverage of the event. We
take multiple great shots of every participating
boat and fleet.
Free use of images to organizers for local press and
some internal purposes.
Entertainment in the form of a slideshow of the same
day's photos at awards ceremony and/or event party.
Photo prints as an award to the top finishers of the
event.
Prints for charitable auctions at our wholesale
print cost.
Free "photo shoot" for charitable auctions with $50
free prints.
We encourage special requests.
Our fees for event coverage correspond to the amount
of participants and the prospect of additional photo
sales to participants.
Event organizers my charge a fee up front to
participants who will receive a CD with digital
photos after the event. This could help pay for our
coverage fee.
Here’s what we ask of host clubs/event organizers:
Assistance in spreading the word that our photos are
for sale: announcements, internet link to
PhotoBoat.com, business cards in registration
packets, etc...
Permission to post signs when appropriate.
A table at the dinner/party/awards ceremony to
present our photos.
Photo Credit to "PhotoBoat.com" wherever our images
are used.
PhotoBoat reserves the right to sell photos of the
event to large publications.
