Allen and Daniela started PhotoBoat with a bang in 2005 as Nelson
Stephenson put his trust in them to cover US Sailing Youth Champs.
They did a good job and have covered many of CPYCs high profile
events since then, including J30 NAs on 2006.
With high interest in racing, big events, and top race
committees, CPYC is a great venue for regatta photography.
In the following years, Allen and Daniela have taken PhotoBoat all the
way down the East Coast and enjoyed the accompanying growth, aptly
competing with the big shots at Key West Race Week and covering events
in South Carolina, Maryland, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Maine.
Still, as Staples grads and long-time Westport sailors, Allen and
Daniela know the Westport waters are their home and they look forward to
covering the local events every summer.
With seven years each teaching at Longshore Sailing School, and
Allen’s five years helping CPYC members get their boats up and running
at The Boat Locker, they have worked with many Westport boaters, and
